It’s not the water that will affect the lift or brow lamination within 24 hours. It’s the other products that are not PH neutral that will reverse them.
We have to keep in mind that we have permanently/chemically altered the disulphide within the hair follicle. Water alone will not change the outcome of the service.
It’s not the water but the chlorine, so no swimming for 24 hours due to the PH level in chlorine not being PH neutral.
No steam, saunas, etc. THIS can contribute to over processing of the chemicals in our products. We need to wait for 24 hours for our products to stabilize. This includes sweat which is not PH neutral.
Let’s talk about why the PH level is so important for a lash lift or brow lamination.
When we do a lash lift or brow laminations, we are changing the PH level of the hair shaft and breaking down that bond and then resetting it. We are removing the moisture and dehydrating the shaft due to the chemical reaction that is created.
They have an infusion of hydration in every step, a true keratin lift AND our products have the lowest PH balance in the industry. What does that mean to you. It’s really difficult to over process your clients lashes and brows with our products.
So water is not the culprit ruining a lift, it’s the heat, chemicals, etc that will do it during that 24 hours of setting.
Anyone else here who would be perfectly happy just doing lift and lamination services all day? $200-$250 for the combo, takes an hour, easy on the body. $1,250 for 5 hours work!
